Saudi Foundation Day is the anniversary of the founding of the Saudi state, and falls on February 22 of each year. On January 27, 2022, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued a royal order that February 22 of each year be a day commemorating the founding of the Saudi state, in the name of Founding Day, and become an official holiday, and this day corresponds to the date of Jumada al-Akhirah 30 of the year 1139 AH, based on what Historians concluded it according to the historical data that occurred during that period, which witnessed Imam Muhammad bin Saud assuming power in Diriyah and many achievements during his reign.
